Optimising Grower/Finisher Feed Efficiency - Refresher Course This refresher course will provide producers and consultants with the technical capacity to maximise feed efficiency in the grower-finisher herd. It will bring together current outcomes from research relating to feed efficiency from Australia and overseas. In particular, work on new feed varieties, grain processing, phase feeding, maternal and weaning influences, genetics and metabolic modifiers. Participants will hear from a range of local speakers with insights from international guests, and have the opportunity to discuss impacts of this research on the Australian and New Zealand pig industries.
